necropolis. From Orvieto you can go to "Civita
di Bagnoregio", the medieval town called "The
dying city". |

Day: Viterbo: The medieval
quarter of "San Pellegrino" and the magnificent
papal palace (seat of the longest "Conclave"
of the history). |
Tuscania: It's two romanesque churches
("San Pietro" and "Santa Maria Maggiore")
and the etruscan necropolis.
Tarquinia: The most renowned city
of province of Viterbo for the important etruscan
necropolis with tombs and the "National Etruscan
Museum".

Vulci: The necropolis that is located
quite near the old castle and the Abbadia's bridge.
Cerveteri: The most important etruscan
city. The museum and the vaste necropolis composed
of tombs among which are the characteristics hound
graves.

3rd Day: Rome: The Coloseum,
Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, the Vatican,
St. Peter Church and the Forum Romanun.

4th Day: Perugia: The capital
of Umbria, Perugia's main square is "Piazza
4 Novembre", dominated by the "Fontana
Maggiore". Visit to the National Archaelogical
Museum, the St. Lorenzo cathedral, the "Oratorium"
of St. Bernardino.
Assisi: Renowned as the birth place
of St. Francis and a major pilgrimage destination.
Visit to the "Basilica" of St. Francis.

5th Day: Siena: Visit to
"Piazza del Campo" (famous for its "Palio"),
"Palazzo Pia dei Tolomei", the "Duomo"
and the medieval quarter.

6th Day: Another "Etruscan
Tour" starting from Bolsena, concerns the region
of Tuscany:
Sovana, renowned for Ildebrando's
tomb.
Pitigliano with its ancient town
center and finally Saturnia, a famous thermal center
in the heart of "Etruria".
